History

The law firm Grunte & Cers was founded in 1992 and over the years it has evolved into a recognised full business law firm. In 2005 partners Ivars Grunte and Gundars Cers merged the firm to establish the law firm Loze, Grunte & Cers. At the time this was the largest law firm in Latvia. In 2009 Ivars Grunte and Gundars Cers, together with a team of experienced lawyers decided to undo the merger and re-establish the law firm Grunte & Cers. This decision was taken in order to quarantee provision of efficient and sound legal advice to both local and international clients and remove any doubts about the reputation of the lawyers of Grunte & Cers. The renewed vision of the firm has been to make Grunte & Cers an outstanding and influential market player rendering legal services of top value.

The TLS Alliance is in strategic cooperation with the law firm Vlasova, Mikhel & Partners in Belarus. The partnership was established in order to provide legal advice throughout the Baltic region and Belarus, meeting the highest international standards.
