Grunte & Cers supports seminar Business in Survival? Corporate Reorganization!

Grunte & Cers supports and invites you to participate in the AIJA international seminar Business in Survival? Corporate Reorganization! held on 4 – 6 February 2010.

Attorney at law Agnese Hartpenga, national representative of the Global Association of Young Lawyers in Latvia, takes active part in organisation of the seminar.  Professionals of various areas related to business reorganisation are involved, and they will share their international experience in saving business in the situation of an economic crisis.

The seminar will be opened by Ivars Grunte, partner of law firm Grunte & Cers, member of the Baltic law firm alliance TLS Alliance. He is a member of the Council of the Latvian Bar Association.

Among other specialists Inese Hazenfusa, attorney at law from law firm Grunte & Cers, will speak on rights, obligations and liability of corporate institutions, when managing business in a crisis situation. Risto Vahimets, partner of law firm Tark & Co, member of the Baltic law firm alliance TLS Alliance from Estonia, will present successful Estonian experience in restructuring certain businesses through agreement with creditors or application of legal restructuring proceedings.

In the closing of the seminar Agnese Hartpenga will lead the discussion among the speakers and the audience on how to maintain the most relevant assets and ensure survival of business.
